Farmers no longer need to wait for available water or rain to begin planting their rice crops. With aerobic rice technology, rice grows even with less water and produces higher yield than current varieties in rainfed and upland areas. In the Philippines, some farmers in the provinces of Bulacan, Bataan, and Isabela have tried and adopted aerobic rice in their own rice fields—land that were once left idle or unproductive due to lack of water. This video documents the success stories of the farmers after using aerobic rice technology.
